At an early age I found an affinity towards weight training, it was a bond with my father who always had a weight set in the basement. As a toddler I would lift alongside him with my plastic Fischer weight set.
Playing sports through my youth led to laboring after school and on weekends as a landscaper in my high school years. Laboring taught me an even harder work ethic. During my college years I found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and my athlete days returned. Competing and training as much as I could.
I always felt at home training and being active. This was something I wanted to share with others, so I decided to become a strength and conditioning specialist. After a few months of studying textbooks and countless flashcards I passed my exam and was officially certified.
My first internship was with Kevin Buckley, founder of Dynamic Strength and conditioning. I learned a lot from him, like how to warm up, take care of your body, eat right, and most of all how to really train with kettlebells. He learned from great instructors like John Hinds and Steve Maxwell, just to name a few.
After a few years working I wanted to go back to school, I liked helping people train around injuries and recovery from pains. I applied to CALU’s exercise science program. Ultimately, I wanted to go to school for Physical Therapy, but after interning for a few months I realized I still like being a strength coach.
While chasing my masters I accepted a coaching position at TOP Fitness working alongside owner Scott Prunier. He gave me a chance to develop my own training program inside his facility and coach his clientele. I learned a lot from Scott and always enjoyed working together. I definitely miss having access to his huge library of training material, it was a strength nerds dream.
Approaching my winter break I found a commercial space and landlord who would rent to a startup. I signed a lease and in 6 weeks had a place up and running. I still remember the first few workouts, just a tire, a few kettlebells, and an ab wheel.
I finished my Masters that summer and continued to grow my business. I have over ten years of experience with a consistent routine of study, training, and sport.
Returning to school was always in the back of my head, but this time I was approached by Manchester Community College to adjunct for them. I had a blast teaching sports performance and movement assessments.
Through this time, I competed as a world ranked Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor (top 100) and enjoyed teaching the art to others. I even received my black belt overseas in Dubai from my great friend and coach Alexandre Moreno, returning a year later to compete is another story. This year I joined the Alliance team under Bernardo Faria, a great group of guys that pushes me every time.

He has developed the techniques and process essential to take your game to the highest level⏤ play consistently and focus on the small details to enhance your game. These little details are what you need to help take your game from good to great: high intensity, high concentration, good attitude to developing daily continuous growth, excellent timing and anticipation, positioning, and the ability to read the game.
He is currently specializing in offensive responsibilities, route running, in-line blocking, perimeter blocking, blocking at the second level, and in space, and getting separation on routes. Additionally, Chris has worked with understanding the “bigger picture” of conceptual play from film study.
